Easy French Toast

Ingredients
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1 tbsp sugar
- Pinch of salt
- Up to 8 slices of bread
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp oil
- Honey or syrup, for serving
Instructions
- In a shallow baking dish, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla essence, sugar and salt.
- Dip bread slices into the egg mixture. Soak both the sides well.
- Heat 1/2 tbsp butter and 1/2 tbsp oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat.
- Then add the dipped bread slice and fry it until golden brown, it may take approximately 2 to 3 minutes per side. Cook the rest of the bread slices in the same manner.
